We did Shen and Janna bot vs Ashe Taric, Malphite top vs Malzahar, and Annie mid vs Cho'gath. The game was decided by the ganks of Shaco. Shaco did very good ganks and also, delete Ashe in everyteam fight.

In that game, we all had many lags dunno why. I was so mad about that, cant do nothing >.<

First game I comment! It was our third game, 4 round (we skiped the first round), and we won vs iNEXOR.

We took a global gank setup, with Morgana Top with teleport vs Sion, TF mid vs Malzahar, and bot Janna Ashe vs Taric Corki. We lost the first teafight, 1-0. It was close to both teams. Then we did a long lane phase, and they tried to gank bot with mid jungler and 2 bot, (4vs2) and when they came, TF + Shen ulti, and Morgana TP did a 5vs4, we won it and did drake. Then game was easier.

New Hero Karma Abilities!

Abilities:

Heavenly Wave: Karma sends forth a wave of hidden blades from her fans, dealing magic damage to units in a cone in front of her.

• Mantra Bonus: In addition to dealing damage to enemies, Heavenly Wave will also heal allies in the cone. The amount healed is amplified depending upon the amount of life Karma, or her allies are missing

Spirit Bond: Karma bonds an ally or enemy creating a beam between them. Bonded allies have increased movement speed and bonded enemies have reduced movement speed. Enemy units that come in contact with the beam take magic damage, and champions who pass through the beam receive the same movement speed modifier as bonded champions.

• Mantra Bonus: Karma strengthens the bond to double the effect of the movement speed modifier.

Soul Shield: Karma summons a protective shield that absorbs incoming damage.

• Mantra Bonus: In addition to the shield, energy radiates out from the shield, dealing damage to enemy units around the recipient.

Mantra (Ultimate): Karma empowers her next ability to do an additional effect. Mantra is available at level 1 and does not require a skill point.

Inner Flame (Passive): Karma gains increased Ability Power corresponding to her missing Health.

Question - Who are you?
WetDream - Tim Buysse, Belgium, Accountant
Q - How do you know each other?
W - Some of us go from way back when we were still topELO and others added me or I met in soloqueue, I always like to see new players with potential ( like xPeke ) when he first joined he had not a clue about 5vs5  xDD
Q - What is your function in the team?
W - I am the Captain of the team. I make the calls, picks, bans and decide who plays and who sits out not always the best job because when you lose you will feel responsible aswell and you will have to take responsibility aswell for that.
Q - Which hero do you like and dislike the most?
W - The hero I like the most probably Singed cause he is mad and fun :). And ANIVIA without a doubt the most annoying OP hero at the moment.
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
W - Well there is no real thing to expect I hope this game breaks through but we can only wait and see if they will manage with Dota2 coming out and still no replay / observer.

Shushei - Hello, my name is Maciej, I call myself "Shushei". I'm from Poland. Atm I'm studying Telecomunications and computer systems. (or w/e its name in english ^^)

S - I know most of my team from Top elo solo que. Nothing really special. If I recall corectly Peke was the one I met in mid elo (1500-1600) and started to duo queue with him ^^.
Q - What is your function in the team?
S - I'm exotic champions player ad / or ap carry
Q - Which hero do you like and dislike the most?
S - My favorite champion hmm champions :3 : Pantheon , Alistar and Teemo :D . And my most hated is Anivia, not because I cant play it just its too good atm. And I symphatise more with weaker, lonely not played champs !
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
S - I just hope it will get its place in lans !! Since I played Dota , and HoN and personaly I think League of Legends got more potential (if they add replay and observer mode ^^ ) so I expect riot to work on it. Since imo it should give them good headstart over Dota 2.

xPeke - Hello Im xPeke, my name is Enrique and im from spain :) Im 18 and I study computer enginerring first year but I dont think I will keep studying this later.

xP - I met the clan when it was called topELO I use to be top 1 in solo queue and they contacted me to make trials for the clan ^^ I made the trials at the same time with CyanideFI and we both passed :P.

xP - My favorite hero is Morgana she is just awesome well played can do all she wants! I hate Shaco since I started playing, even tought hes not OP now I still hate him :P

Question - Who are you?
Mellisan - My name is Peter (ign: Mellisan), I'm 21 and from Germany and studying Mathematics.
Q - How do you know each other?
M - Well, I got into the team at first, when I spent a long time on Solo ladder top (yay semester breaks!), got to know Wetdream and Pingus there.
After some players leaving, we got Cyanide and xPeke into the boat due their good performance on Solo ranked (also knew them a bit from there).
Shushei was already quite known from beeing in other good teams and LamiaZealot was recently brought to us by WetDream.
Q - What is your function in the team?
M - Currently I'm taking the roles of playing the support champs and physical carries, so everything on botlane basicly. Also used to play Casters from time to time, but xPeke and Shushei took that over.
Else I m just a normal player, as we obviously have only one captain and thats WetDream.
Q - Which hero do you like and dislike the most?
M - Like: Miss Fortune, extremly high damage potential and a lot of fun playing, trying the get the perfect Double Up's.
Dislike: Gragas, Q not really dodgeable without boots, annoying dashing around and this big barrel to knock you around. And if we is played on AP it also hurts like hell.
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
M - I think LoL's future isn't too bad as most people would say, it is clearly based off DotA, but still shows some significant differences concerning gameplay. So I guess it will still be able to maintain a big part from the community, when DotA 2 comes out. But to do that, LoL will need Replays and maybe even Observer mode, dont really care about the new map if I'm honest.

M - Not really.

Question - Who are you?
CyanideFI - Finland, Lauri Happonen, Senior High School
Q - How do you know each other?
C - I knew most of the people already from soloque, one day WetDreaM just asked if I wanted to trial for his team and I was more than happy to!
Q - What is your function in the team?
C - I usually play the tank sololane, and sometimes in the jungle.
Q - Which hero do you like and dislike the most?
C - My favourite hero is probably Gankplank, not that I play him but I love his game mechanics. And the hero I hate the most is Anivia, without a doubt. OP Wall, OP slow, OP stun, OP Guardian Angel...
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
C - Well I think that without replays and good servers LoL will slowly fade away, but if Riot manages to deliver them I think there is a bright future for League of Legends!

Question - Who are you?
Pingus - Jan Zalewski, studying computer science at warsaw university.
Q - How do you know each other?
P -   I joined the old TopElo team, in which Wetdream and Mellisan played. We stayed together pretty short, then Wetdream formed a team on the ashes of the old one, he grabbed CyanideFi and xPeke. Also after the CLG invitational played with Shushei he joined our team ( he is my good friend as we are countrymates) and I think Lamiazealot joined after Osaft got kicked.
Q - What is your function in the team?
P - I'm a jungle/tank/support player.
Q - Which hero do you like and dislike the most?
P - Janna is my favourite and I really hate Anivia and Kassadin right now.
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
P - I think LOL future will be bright as long as RIOT starts to support competitive gaming. I think they have really bad focus, noone cares about Human vs AI in MOBA type game. Replays, observer mode, less bugs, bigger support for top players (like max queue time for example) is what this game needs right now.

LaMiaZeaLoT - Manuel Mildenberger, Germany, 21 y.o. studying germanistic&anglistics.

L - Only from LoL, the team picked me up some weeks ago for a trial and they're really cool (tho shushei sucks, is weird and takes all my farm)

L - Ad carry mostly, could also do mage and tanky stuff and some jungles.

L - Shaco is my favorite and Gragas my least favorite :>
Q - What do you guys think about lol's future and what do you expect from Riot?
L - I think LoL will grow and that they will release the new map and graphics to counter the DotA2 release. I expect Riot to do some things faster and focus more on balancing and updating odl champions rather than releasing new ones (even thought it's what they need since they get money for it)

We lost vs H2K! 6 disconections in our Team pwned us so hard.

We started defending our golem with no level 1 fight. Then I failed on a gank to Malzahar, and we started the disconnects. Wickd dc, then Oce1ote, so we were playing some minutes with only 3 players. Anivia get some ganks mid, so Malzahar overfarm him. Same to Mundo top and Corki bot. Wickd disconnected a total of 5 times. No much we can do with that. Even with the massive disconnections, we fought at Nashor. I could steal it from H2K, but they killed me and Sona, but it was nice.

But nothing we could do since they took all the drakes without any defense (always 4vs5...) and all our buffs.

Osk: Vladimir(xPeke) / Zilean(shushei) / Tristana(lamiazealot)+janna(mellisan) Rammus(cyanide-jungle)
aAa: Shen(wewillfailer) / Gragas(sOAZ) / Urgot(kok tidus)+Taric(kujaa) / Malphite(yellowstar)


The game began with 1-0 to aAa loosing cyanide in that fight but as soon as we started lanning we were dominating with zilean and vladimir and first fights were pretty favorable for us since we had some more kills than them. We got first dragon without problems and sOAZ failed stealing it but he took revenge in second dragon which he easily stole. late we had some problems we tried to initiate but malphite stomped us all and we got almost aced, but then after going equal we made to catch shen(wewillfailer) pushing a lane and pushed then we made to kill gragas(soaz) and make baron without that much risk of getting it steal.

then finally last fight was so Great for us: urgot ultied me into their base and all 5 came to me.. i just did Ulti with vladimir then pool and shushei places 2 bombs. For the time i go out of pool i pop zonya and insant ulti from zilean(<3) so they were already loosing 50% of their hp, then everyone comes in and after zonya we just made the fight and the nexus ^^

WOW! 48 minutes of game vs Team TicTacs, only words to say: GOODGAME. What a nice game we played!

They did a perfect early game. No errors, good ganks, and good lanes. Corki get the firstblood vs Malzahar in mid. Then Rammus ganked top, and Rammus and Malphite died vs Kennen, who also died, but it was 2 for 1, so TicTacs lead the game in the early so hard. Then some teamfight with some error of us made a very fed Corki. Fredy122 with Corki, played a perfect game.

In late game, we rushed Nashor and start pushing lanes. Then Karalius came in our back with Sion, and we rush him. He was in a bad position. I think he run away but we fought 4 vs 5 and won that battle, and inhibitor. Then with a continue push we won that game.

What a really nice game we played. Fredy122 played really good, also Wickd did a great job too.

The started with an encounter in mid bushes where Osk got 1-0 advantage, in top lane I went 2-0 with morgana against vladimir(:D) what gave us a great advantage since in the first teamfight i just ultied them for 50% of their hp and gragas ap finished them with some barrels, from then it was over.

We have been killed several time due to Skyyart high ping (200+).
Then they could push all our towers and the mid inib.
After that they have keep backdooring and pushed all our lanes.
At 30min game, we got one inib with one tour and one tower remaining at our nexus.
They try to get nashor, sivir stole it with her Q.
Then some teamfights occured, they were all kitting while yi was backdooring ...
At 55min, aLs push the three lines and try to get nashor, sivir is instant killed.
And Tictacs go backdoor nexus.

We won vs SheSaidSheWas18 in a nice Match. I record it with fraps to upload it this next week in SK-gaming.com. Thats why no one of you listened to me on the Wickd's Stream ^^

We started at their golem while enemie was at our golem. Then normal laning time (Malzahar vs Vladimir mid, JannaAP+Tristana vs Zilean+MF bot), so I went top to gank Shen. Ultimate of Malphite, Stun of Amumu and he was dead and FirstBlood for Malphite. Then we ganked bot and took tower and drake and game was almost done. We pushed every lane while they were defending.

We finished after Nashor. Rashaasii did a really nice game, 12-2-5 and overfarm their Shen.

Competo ( We), went for a lvl1 fight at their golem. We got first blood killing shen and our Corki took the blue buff.

Sadly corki and sion (bot lane) did a fail go and gave blue buff to blitzcrank. But beside that, we dominated every lane, and with this strong fighting setup we could win every fight we started.

We let em our jungle (worst level 1 fight), only protected Akali normal jungle. They took our golem. But then all our lanes were really good. Alth0r (as Malzahar) did FirstBlood vs Rammus who gank him with double buff. Then top lane, Galio overfarm their Mundo, and bot Lane, Taric+Ashe vs Lux+Sivir, let em out of experience. Nice ganks by Severus (Akali) and Alth0r (Malzahar).

We won the first round of the go4lol.

SW: Malzahar, Amumu, Cho'Gath, Corki, Taric.

We dominated em all the match. Rashaasii did the first kill in top. Rest of the lanes were not so good (Kog'Maw mid vs Malzahar and Janna+Shen vs Corki+Taric), so they waited for Severus (as Akali) to get level 6. Then he started to gank and game was easiest.

nRated almost did a Pentakill with GunBlade AP Kog'Butterfly. Only quadra for nRated.

How to be a pro jungler

Today I will give you some tips of how to be a top player in jungle.

First I want to say, why you send someone to jungle?
1-You have 1 more solo lane. So 1 guy higher level then a dual lane.
2-Jungler can gank everylane and give you an early advantage.
3-Some heros can't farm right on a lane so jungle is a good way to let him farm.

Then lets see what heros can jungle. With smite and the proper runes, almost everyhero can jungle. But, who are the best junglers?

Akali: Nice Spell Vamp to heal, and good gank at level 6.
Amumu: Not viable on lane, but nice ganks since level 3 and easy jungler with W.
Evelyn: Really fast jungler and one of the best gankers in jungle.
Master Yi: Good ganks with lizard and really fast jungle.
Nunu: Fast jungler and good hero to make fast drake. Also he good a powerfull slow for ganks.
Olaf: Nice life steal for jungle and good ganks with axe.
Rammus: W is too strong to jungle, and 1 of the best gankers.
Shaco: Fast jungler and very good movility to gank and steal jungler of the enemie.
Shen: Slow jungle but not a bad gank. Only viable if you got better solo laners.
Warwick: Amazing life steal, you never lose HP, and also, nice ganks with lizard, and at level 6.

Other junglers: Cho'Gath, Mundo, FiddleSticks, Gragas, Malphite, Nasus, Trundle, Tryndamere, Udyr, XinZhao.

What runes are the best? Every jungle should take different runes, for example, the Tank junglers should go with Red and Yellow Armor flat, and blue Mana Reg/lvl or CD reduction or MR flat. Heros like Shaco and Olaf and Warwick, Red runes of Attack speed are good on them. Quints almost always HP flat. Armor flat are also good, and some heros can jungle with AP flat too.

What Masteries should I take? It depends on what jungler you are. The Tank junglers should go with something like: 1-16-13, or 1-21-8. The offensive junglers (Shaco, Master Yi, Akali...) should go with 21-0-9.

What should I buy at level 1?A good way to jungle, is to start with Cloth Armor and potions. Also 1 ward and 2 potions are also good, but only viable in good junglers with huge life steal. For some Tank junglers, Doran Shield and potion is also fine, and for some Offensive junglers, Doran Sword is fine.

Where should I start the jungle? It depends, if you are a good jungler but you need your spells for the jungle (Warwick, Rammus, Amumu...) then you should start at Ancient Golem, who gives you a BlueBuff with huge mana regen. Other junglers can start on the 2 little golems. You get level 2 there and now you go to wraiths, and wolves.

How much damange does Smite? Before with some magic resist it was really hard to do it well. Now, neutral minions got 0 MR so it does 420 + 25/level.

How does the jungle work? Small camps of minions (Wraiths, wolves and little golems) spawns at 1:39. Ancient Golem and Lizard Elder spawns at 1.55. Dragon spawns at: 2:30. Baron Nashor at 15:00.

Gold and Experience from killing Baron Nashor is granted to every member of your team. Gold from killing Dragon is granted to every member of your team. Drake gives 190 global gold to the team.

After Baron Nashor is slain, all living players on the team gain a buff that lasts 2.30 with the following attributes:
40 Ability Power
40 Damage
3% of your Max Health in Health Regeneration
1% of your Max Mana in Mana Regeneration

Ancient Golem, gives to the killer a Blue Buff: Mana regen and CD reduction. Elder Lizard gives to the kills Red Buff: slows (10/20/30)% for melee characters and only (5/10/15)% for ranged characters, and does some Damange per second. Killing this champion will transfer the buff to you.

1. Download the skin (it will be called "Champion".dds)
2. Go to \Riot Games\League of Legends\game\DATA\
3. Make a new folder called "Characters"
4. In that folder, make a new folder with the name of the original skin of the champion (you can find the orginal skin names here)

How to be Top Elo in... 5on5 premade!

Have you ever played vs a team and accused them of using cheats? How can they farm so much? How can they always know where you are? If any of these questions ever popped up in your mind, keep reading!

Let's start talking about the picks. In a setup, you should have: 1 Tank, 1 Support, 1 AP, 1 Carry. Then the 5th guy should fit in your setup or counter the other setup. Top lane is always solo. Mid solo, bot dual-lane, and 1 jungler (Why top solo and not bot? Drake is important, and you will take the first teamfight for him, or at least you will try to do it before your enemy). A tank should go Top, mid or jungle. The support always goes bot. AD carries better lane at bot with the support, but he can also go mid, or even top. An AP carry should go top or mid. In Europe, the most used is Tank top, AP mid, Carry + Support bot, and one offtank jungling. You can also try Top and Mid with 2 AP heros, and let the jungle for a tank.

Best tanks for solo lane? Malphite, Shen, Cho'Gath and Gragas.
Best AP for solo lane? Vladimir, Kassadin, Anivia, Kennen, Malzahar, Morgana, Twisted Fate, Swain, Karthus.
Best AD carry? Ashe, MF, Sivir, Corki, Tristana, Kog'maw, Pantheon and probably Caitlyn.
Best support? Janna, Taric, Sona, Soraka, Zilean.
Best jungler? Evelyn, Rammus, Amumu, Shaco, Warwick.

Lets explain the laning phase a little bit: You must focus on the Last-Hit. Dont do auto attacks for pushing if your enemy is waiting for you. He can let you push, waiting for a gank of the jungler. Then if you die, he outfarms and outlevels you. You should train your Last-Hitting really hard. It's the 1st step to be a good player in this game. In bot lane, the farm should be for the carry. Support doesn't need much farming.

The supports objective is to buy wards, and items for the team (Aegis, SoulShroud, Shurelia..). You have to control always the Drake, and after minute 18/20, the Nashor. Taking a Drake means: 190 gold / player of you team, and experience for you allies near your champion. That is almost 1000 gold. For the first minutes, that is SO much. In the late game it's not that much. You can also ward enemy's golem/lizard to steal them. If you steal a golem from Anivia/Kassadin/Malzahar, he will be so fucked.

For the first minute of the game. You can go all together to the enemy's jungle to steal their golem/lizard. Always tank first for if you take the fight at level 1. In that level, any hero is a good focus. Just try to focus him with everything you have. Even a tank in that levels is weak.

Other thing I will say is that, I always prefer a setup with a good initiator. Which heros are good initiators? Ashe, Malphite, Amumu, Rammus, Anivia, Morgana, Malzahar, Warwick, Gragas...

And the last tip I will give to you is... train hard and get experience.

With the new hero, I asked some of the SK Gaming LOL, and 1 players, what they think about him. These are their answers:

What do you think about the new hero?

Alth0r: I think he is not very good char.

nRated: Well, not really playable.

Do you think he will be a Tank or a DPS?

Alth0r: Well, as tank he got no big cc's. Only 1 stun. And not enough DPS without items. There are better tanks. So he is forced to be played as DPS but he is Melee. And as DPS you can kill him so fast.

nRated: Both can be played, but I think tanky one is better cause of the heal in AOE


Here I got a friend who wants to talk about Renekton:

myhooL: You should kinda overwork your Renekton impressions, I met 1 in a ranked Sologame! He took solo top, was hard to gank, farmed himself UP played a tanky Build but with some DPS, just Urgot Style and went pretty much unkillable Lategame.

I will introduce to everyone the Top European Team. I will start with my team obviously ^^

SK Gaming LOL: I started this team time ago. I started with all spanish guys, then we started getting european guys and then we got this sponsor because Oce1ote knew em and SleazyWeazy was some time ago on the past Sk Gaming team. At the moment we are Top1 in the Go4LoL overall ranking. We are: SleazyWeazy and Rashaasii, our pair of tanks, Alth0r and Severus, our pair of AP players, Wickd, our AD carry, nRated and Oce1ote our AD/AP carrys, and finally me, Support player. We already won 9 times the Go4LoL, and 1 time the EMS.

They are realtive a new team but all the member got a huge experience on this game.

Competo: Top8 of the Go4LoL overall ranking. German team leaded by Forellen-Lord. They were 2nd in the #19 Go4LoL. Competo is formed by: Forellen-Lord and Fisch AP/AD carry, Timson Tank, Unso jungler, Lycades Support, CedeoCedeo AD and Support. They are new team but with a huge potential.

European Ladder 17-1-2010

Hello everyone! Im here to talk about the European Ladder!  Every Monday I will cover the European Ladder and Top European Teams.


First of all, I will talk about the Premade 3on3. We can find the aAa 3on3 team, in top1 from long time ago. Kok Tidus, wewillfailer and Yellowstar (They also play with kujaa) are in top5 since the start of the season. They are really good 3on3 players. They know all of the 3on3 map, how to counter what, how to play vs that... They would be probably Top1 in the world of the 3on3. Then we can see the 2nd team. Czaru and Arquel, who plays with gangamanpl (Top6). They played more then anyone in 3on3 (More then 300 games together), and they played also really good in 3on3. They always farm so good and they play strange 5on5 heros (Urgot, Signed...)


Now I will talk about the Premade 5on5: We can find Top1 Darien. 1 of the guys from MTG. We can find also Genja007 (The famous Heal carry) as Top3 and Alex Ich (very good guy :) ), Top5, from that team. MTG is a full russian team, Top13 in the go4lol overall ranking but they are much betters then other teams placed in the Top10. We got also Jothy, Top2, a French player from ALS (Top14 in the go4lol overall ranking, but they are a really powerfull new team, in some months, they will be in the Top5 of europe for sure!). And then, I am Top4 ^^. Araneae, captain of SK Gaming team, who didnt played ranked 5on5 since december, because we all get family days, and hard time of study.


Finally I will talk about of the Solo 5on5. Top1 is Linak. Who need an intro of Linak? Everyone knows him, as Top LoL player since the beta. He was Top in the past elo when he was playing with Fureur. Now he is on trials on aAa. Top2 is the french aAa player sOAZ. Really skilled AP player. He can play almost all the AP heros, and some AD too. Really good player. Top3 is Edvin, he is a tank top-lane player. I saw him playing a really good mundo, and really good malphite. Also Rammus and some more tanks too. In Top4 we got Alex Ich, again my Russian friend. He plays almost everyhero (Carry, tank, jungler...) and he can carry almost every team. Finally we got Alex Ich's mate, Darien in Top5. He played so much AP heros.

We played Top: Shen vs Malphite, mid Janna AP vs Kassadin, and bot lane AP Taric + Ashe vs Sona + Kog'Maw. In Jungle, Warwick on SK side, an Evelyn on oSK side. It was a really hard match, where we did a really fast Drake, but they ganked so fast with Evelyn. Evelyn was all around the map ganking everyone O.O.


But we knew that we get a better late setup so we focus the game to push and play safe till late game. Then everyteam fight, me (ww) flash + ultimate with Ashe Arrow, Taric Stun and Shen taunt and a 1 guy down. We always focused Evelyn/Kassadin.


Then at mid game (min 30 or something like that) nRated disconnect for 10 minutes or something like that so they could do free Nashor, free Drake and our buffs, cause we were just 4 guys, but we get already inhibitor pushed, so they couldnt push so hard. But even without inhibitor, they could destroy 2/3 towers. Then nRated came back and in that moment, xPeke did a big mistake: he run in our face, and he ate ww ultimate, taric stun, Ashe ultimate..>.< We push again inhibitor and we made Nashor. In that moment they came to us and we took the last fight. We focused hard Kassadin and then Evelyn. We won that fight, and with that, won the game.


For me, the best player in that match was Sleazy. He played so well vs Malphite and he was all the time looking the map to ultimate someone of us to help or to gank. Of oSK Pingus did a really good early ganks. Really nice game to oSK and gratz for you new Sponsor.

We are in the finals! We won Competo in semifinals. I think we did soe good bans/picks and then we took lvl 1 fight and we almost killed 3 of em QQ but we didnt kill anyone. Just I (Araneae,Amumu) get full level from Warwick suicide to tower. So I did a really nice jungle. We get after first kill with Shen using ultimate bot-lane.


Shen did a very good job top and mid was an amazing battle. Kassadin vs Malzahar harrassing each other all the time. It was funny :) Then they went to drake, and we stopped em but then we went back and they did free drake :(


After that we start warding everywhere and destroying their jungle and ganking all the time. Personally, both tanks did a great job :P Amumu and Shen, all the time stunning, taunting, with the damange of Malzahar and Sivir, decide the battle. Everyfight, Kassadin get Malzahar ultimate, so he was really f***** all the time >.<

Go4LoL #20 ! SK vs Dimegio

We won against my spanish buddy's. They played a dual AD setup, with a really good laning phase. (Cho>Malph, Corki>Anivia). In the fight at level 1, it was really equal, we killed Cho, they killed Anivia but we get the first blood, Sivir, played by nRated.


Then bot lane was really fine, Taric Sivir pushing so hard. The jungler of Dimegio, Hein, made 2 good ganks to Top and mid, while I tried to gank mid, but my bottom lane didnt want to come to get a freekill!


We get the first drake and then in the first team fight we won it with massive AOE's. Then Sivir push bot all the time and we push top hard. It was a good game.


Now Semifinal vs Competo! We want our revenge!

Go4LoL # ! 20 Birth VS MTG

Birth win a game that started with some troubles thanks to alex ich 3-0 and dragon really soon in the game.


At some points we got rly scared of that brolaf but in last teamfights we just kite him until his went down and then it was over for the.


Awesome alex ich carrying his team but shushei's zilean was perfect counter to him with ulti and buffspeed.

Go4LoL #20 ! SK vs Angry Bears

2nd round finished. We won vs The Anrgy Bears. We won em with a non-strange setup:


Shen top, TF mid, MF and Janna bot, and Rammus jungle.


We played vs a non-jungler team, so top lane was little harder, but rest of the lanes destroy their tower in 10 min. nRated get totally fed with 16-0 with an EPIC build. (AP/AD MF ^^)

Go4LoL #20 ! SK vs Nazgul

We finished our 3rd round winning Nazgul team, an Italian team. Its nice to see italians players here ^^


We played with Malphite top, Vladimir mid, Ashe and Janna bot, and Jungling, Mumu-Present!


I remember some funny moments like me trying to use ultimate (bugged), couldnt press R or even clicking with the mouse..>.< I get owned.. Then we looked at wickd build and we all laughed so much ^^ Ashe with Sheen. WTF! Also we saw good moves by nRated AP-Taric with GunBlade and a huge focus. And Sleazy almost done a pentakill but exhaust killed him ^^

We just played our first game vs timeNos, we played a strange build:
 
Gangplank top, TF Mid, Blitzcrank and Zilean Bot, and Shen jungle.
 
Nice ganks with Gangplank ultimate, TF and Shen. Also Blitzcrank and Zilean good bot lane. Fredy122 and Havoc24 played it on solo queue and we are now trying it.

Abilities:


Renekton uses a new resource system called Fury. Renekton gains Fury by attacking or dealing damage with spells. When he has gathered enough Fury, the resource will be expended to empower his skills with bonus effects.


Tyrant’s Reach: Renekton cleaves, dealing damage to nearby enemies and healing for 20% of the damage dealt. Each target hit grants 5 fury, up to 25. Heal amount is tripled against champions up to a hard cap.
When Renekton has more than 50 Fury he heals for a large portion of damage dealt. Consumes 50 Fury.


Ruthless Predator: Renekton’s next attack will swing twice dealing a percentage of his Attack Damage as physical damage and stunning his target for a short time. Applies on-hit effects.
When Renekton has more than 50 Fury, his next attack will swing three times dealing a percentage of his Attack Damage and stunning his target for an increased duration. Consumes 50 Fury.


Slice: Renekton dashes forward, dealing physical damage to targets along the way. If he hits a target he gains the ability to use Dice. .
Dice: Renekton dashes, dealing physical damage along the way.
When Renekton has more than 50 Fury during Dice, he deals 50% additional damage and shreds the armor of targets he hits. Consumes 50 Fury.


Dominus (Ultimate): Renekton empowers himself with dark energies, gaining increased size and health for 15 seconds. While empowered, he deals additional magic damage and generates bonus Fury every second.


Reign of Anger (Passive): Renekton gains 10 Fury per autoattack. Having sufficient fury empowers Renekton’s abilities with bonus effects, but this drains Fury. Out of combat, Renekton loses 5 Fury per second.


When Renekton is below 40% life, he generates 50% more Fury.

With the start of a new year, it seemed the perfect opportunity to ask Alvar 'Araneae' Martín, the captain of the SK Gaming League of Legends team his thoughts on 2010 and what we can look forward to for 2011.

In addition Araneae has been hard at work on a 'frag' video, showing some of his game play from 2010.

Hey Araneae, as this is your first interview on the SK site, just give us a little insight into who you are, how long you have been playing LoL and what gaming background do you have?

"Hello everyone. I'm Araneae, the captain of the SK Gaming LOL Team. I played some years CS, then 2 years DOTA and after that I started playing LOL in the closed Beta just for fun."

As some may know, prior to SK you and a large portion of the SK team were playing for the Spanish organisation of Dimegio. Your strong performances and very consistent performances are no doubt what attracted the attention of SK. How were you approached and what was it like to be asked to join such a big name in eSports?

"Well, we knew that Dimegio is a small Spanish team, and we should leave it for become bigger! In the moment that SK wanted us to join their team, we were really happy! All our team wanted to join such a big team like SK. Also Ocelote knows many European teams, and he told me that SK would be our best choice."

As you state, SK are a large organisation with lots of history. What do you think they will be able to offer you as a team and what do you hope to bring to the SK-Gaming banner?

"For us, SK, is the best organisation. We said it before joining here, and we will continue saying that. They can offer us the opportunity to travel to important lans, big website with news, products from SteelSeries, voice program... We will also aim to bring SK name to the top of the LoL community."

2010 was a successful year for you as a gamer, LoL was in its first proper year also, do you think LoL has developed well over this past 12 months?

"Yep, Riot did a very good job in 2010. We also know that they will do a better job in 2011. They went to the WCG and also they created the Go4lol's. This year they will continue with the Go4lol and also they will go to other important lans. At the moment, all the league of legends community is waiting for more info of the "End of the Season Tournament". That will be a big world tournament."

Araneae, for those of you who aren't aware, is the SK teams support player. Did you start LoL with the intention to play support primarily or did it just happen? What do you like about playing support?

"I started playing tanks. Then I played carries for the solo queue, and in the end I started playing Supports. So I played with all the heroes and I know what they can do, and what they can't do. I like to play supports cause you are many times the minimap of your team, calling misses and revealing the map with the CV to prevent ganks, or to see where they are. I always said the same: the important rule of a support is the position!"

So as a support, what do you see as your main role, is it the map awareness you provide or is it to disrupt the enemy with say a Janna knock-up or a Taric stun? Or do you see it as making sure your carry has a Janna shield on at all times, or is always healed?

"I think is all at the same time. People always call the support work as boring and easy. But it is not always so easy. The role of all the supports is the map awareness, with wards and CV. And of course, to dont let your team to die. Not only carry, many times the focus is on tank and you should protect him before the carry. So there is not a main role, it is all your job."

Thanks for those few insights, next up we have your new video. Does it feature mainly team play or are they highlights from Solo Q?

"I wanted to wish a Happy New Year to everyone in Sk Gaming with this video.

So the video have some team clips, but most of them are just clips in solo queue or some normal game."
